Brothers In Arms represents the essence of Langhorne Creek and has evolved from five generations of grape growing tradition. The vines my great-great grandfather planted in 1891 led to the estate vineyard known as “Metala” vineyard, recognised as one of the most famous in South Australia. We are proud to have the Oldest Family Owned Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard in the World.

The Brothers in Arms label, released in 1998 is rich in old vine fruit, some as old as 122 years! For years one of the wine industry’s best kept secrets, Langhorne Creek is now a strong premium wine producer in its own right. The “blood” that flows through the veins here is red ~ Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. This is red wine country.

At Brothers in Arms, we put our heart into full bodied wine that is true to the estate and true to the region. Our estate wines showcase our quality fruit and reflect the spirit of our family tradition. Since 1998 we have achieved national & international recognition for our Brothers in Arms bottled beauties.

Killibinbin was established in 1997. The fruit for these "killer" wines has been sourced from our vineyards since then.

When the opportunity to take over the brand arose we grabbed it with both hands. We had been looking for an avenue to deliver different expressions of the fruit grown here at Metala without compromising the established styles of Brothers in Arms and this is a perfect fit.
